A person’s blood type is determined by the type of antigen, or blood protein, carried in the blood. A person with type A has blood with antigen A.

Antibodies are proteins produced by the immune system that help to destroy foreign cells or proteins. Generally, blood antibodies are opposite the antigens, duh! A person with type A blood carries Antibody B.

The Million Dollar Question! A wealthy elderly couple die together in an accident. Soon a man shows up to claim their fortune, saying he is their only son who ran away from home as a boy. Other relatives dispute his claim. Hospital records show that the deceased couple were type AB and O respectively. The claimant to the fortune was type O. Could he be their son?
