National Cancer Patient Experience Survey (CPES) 2014 All adult patients (aged 16 and over) with a primary diagnosis of cancer who had been admitted to an NHS hospital as an inpatient or as a day case patient, and had been discharged between 1st September and 30th November 2013. The CPES provides information that can be used to drive local quality improvements, both by Trusts and Commissioners, and is consistent with the objectives of NHS policy. Postal surveys were sent to patients’ home addresses following their discharge. 235 patients responded to the survey from the Trust
