2 What is SIGVOL? We were born, and are an apostolate, of the Christian Life Community in Ecuador (CLC) We propose a volunteering service: inclusive, participatory and open for all kinds of religious or political beliefs, centered on the person. We work from the late nineties in promoting volunteering for development in the poorest areas of Ecuador. For more information on our programs and activities please visit www.sigvol.org

4 Projects currently available “Vacation Camps in 20 communities in the locality of Cotundo, province of Napo in the Ecuadorian Amazon” Working with indigenous children in their own development and community building initiatives to recover their cultural traditions.

5 Projects currently available “Alternative construction of homes for poor communities in Ecuador“ Construction of houses through community work (Minga) with the participation of volunteers and community members.

9 Requirements Having an adequate level of Spanish to be able to interact and work with people in the volunteering experience. 11 Confirmation of participation: Required to confirm with at least two months in advance. Since this is our starting year, if a volunteer or groups are interested in participating in an intensive project on July or August 2012, we will coordinate the process faster (even with 1 or 2 months in advance).
