Background Designed as a leadership development course for officers with 6-10 years of PHS Active Duty. Course was last offered by COTA in March 2011. Over 1500 Officers were sent an email notification to attend March 2014 course.

Did you know? Basic Readiness is required by law. [United States Code (USC), Title 42, Section 204A] President’s Challenge eliminated by July 2015 APFT completed via Skype (Isolated Officers) Great COERS vs. PHS Awards New applicants to the Corps will be interviewed by telephone.
