What is Technology Integration? Resources -computers, software, network based computer systems. Technology Based Practices - collaborative work & communication, Internet based research, remote access, network based transmission, retrieve data.

Are students proficient in the use of technology in the teaching /learning environment? Students are proficient in the use of: Writing tools – Words, Works, Word Perfect Drawing tools – Power Point, Front Page for web development. Illustration tools – Adobe Photo, Power Point, Publisher, Word, Digital Cameras Multimedia tools – Podcasting, Videos

Are technology proficiencies and measures incorporated into teaching/learning environments? Students independently access Success Maker, Skills Tutor, River Deep, Atomic Learning, FCAT Explorer. Students independently access Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Publisher. Students adhere to an acceptable use policy that allows their use to be secure, private and avoid computer viruses. Students register at the media center to complete assessments to determine academic performance on a quarterly basis.
