Intravascular Ultrasound with Targeted Microbubbles Microbubble enhanced ultrasound is normally done only in regions where ultrasound imaging can be done Project Focus: Use intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) with focused beam profile to burst microbubbles in areas of the body where ultrasonic imaging is not possible Introduce drug-laden microbubbles for targeted drug delivery Diagnose delivery amount using IVUS-based targeted tissue palpitation
