Medical Mrs Dembinski will be our official first aider Medical forms are here tonight, please fill in and return to school by 13 th May – please be honest, it is treated in the strictest confidence All medicines to be clearly named with clear dosage instructions and brought to school by an adult during week beginning 3 rd June Travel sickness – please supply enough for the week as above but give your child their dose on the Tuesday morning Medicines will need to be collected from the school office by an adult on our return Children need to carry their own inhalers (but a spare may be a good idea!) Calpol: We have a form that you can sign to give us consent to administer calpol for minor ailments. This saves the hassle of carrying bottles for each individual. It will be Branded Calpol.

A Few Basics Behaviour – high expectations - we are in public places table manners safety in the hotel Safety - high ratio of adults to children, all staff carry phones children will be in groups and will know who their group adult leader is children will not be allowed to ‘go off’ by themselves school hats worn at all times risk assessment for each day made clear to the children Responsibility-for belongings (name as many things as possible please) for having the things they need each day for their own behaviour

Contact whilst we are away – we will contact school every day with an update – keep a check on the website. We do our best to upload photographs as well.

Kit List Basic kit list available tonight. Towels are not provided by the hotel. Please pack with the children – they need to know what they have. Be prepared – water proofs and sun cream are essential. Sun cream must be applied by the children. Electrical items – no mobile phones, no items that connect to internet. We would suggest no tablets. DS, PSP, MP3 for the coach only MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED DS can be charged by members of staff if you bring a named charger Expensive items are not advised! Cameras-Disposable cameras Digital cameras at your own risk Named please Video and photos should be available to buy

Food – No food or drink will be allowed in hotel rooms. Please keep sweets to a minimum – just a few for journeys. Packed lunch and drinks will be needed for the first day. Please make it disposable. No glass or fizzy drinks please Please provide a water bottle which can then be refilled. WATCH or small travel clock is useful !!!!

Money, passport, tickets! Collective passport has been issued Please ensure that all payments are up to date – see Mrs Lowe for further information Please ensure you have your European Health Insurance card (EHIC)Forms are available on line http://www.dh.gov.uk/travellers. http://www.dh.gov.uk/travellers This needs to be in the children’s own purse or wallet. in €5.00 notesPocket money – please provide €30.00 spending money in €5.00 notes in a named purse or wallet. This will be handed out daily to the children by their group leader. Pocket money and the EHIC should be brought to school on Monday 8 th June. If your child is travelling on their own passport please bring that in to school on Monday 8 th June.
