The business world is made up of PCs, shouldn’t we insist our students use Office 2007? What if I teach Access in my class?

Conclusions Social Experiment! Macs are more popular than ever – we can’t ignore them. Office 2007 and Office 2008 are fundamentality the same. Each Office application differs slightly, and offers different advantages, but virtually identical results can be achieved with each. Preference comes down to personal choice. iLife ’08 and ’09 compliment Office 2008 for the Mac nicely. Worst-Case-Senario: Macs can run Windows Bottomline - the Mac student can be easily accommodated in the intro course.
