2. There are kids out there, just like you, who are in need of a good education for a brighter future. That’s why the Ed Colina Foundation wants to help.

3. One of Kenya’s tribes, the Masai, have further disadvantages than most. GIRLS Girls have to do chores before going to school The women have a submissive role, they just raise the children. They are encouraged to have 1 child a year BOYS Men do hunting Boys get books and uniforms to go to school, while girls have to buy their own The brothers are always given first priority

4. The Ed Colina Foundation has supported three pre- schools and feeding programs in the Kenya area. Two additional pre-schools are now independent. The Ed Colina Foundation supports early childhood education. Ed Colina

5. IT WILL GIVE THE CHILDREN A BRIGHTER FUTURE The education will make for a brighter future in their lives. The students will have a better chance for a job and a future. Girls have a further disadvantage than boys; they are given chores and no extra money for uniforms and books. Boys are given first priority. Children must walk to and from school (nearest schools are 8 km away).
