Vocabulary hubris (noun) extreme pride, arrogance or sense of self- importance –“Hubris often indicates a loss of touch with reality and overestimating one's own competence or capabilities, especially for people in positions of power. It is also referred to as "pride that blinds“ because hubris often blinds a person to what is true or real.

HOMEWORK: Bring in a picture of a place in “nature” that is important to you. –Picture = photo, printout, drawing, collage, etc. –This picture will be displayed on the bulletin board.
