“Lord, teach us to pray...” (Luke 11:1) Do you, like Jesus’ first disciples, desire to learn how to pray? There is much to learn and the best way to learn is from being with others who also desire to pray. The 2 nd annual Kansas City First Church Day of Prayer on Saturday, March 21 st will provide you with an opportunity to learn about prayer, deepen your prayer life, and strengthen our bonds as a praying church.

KCFC Day of Prayer Saturday March 21, 2015 8am – 4pm Youthfront LaCygne, KS (an hour south on Highway 69)

“Pray in the Spirit at all times...” (Ephesians 6:8) On the grounds and in the chapel of Youthfront LaCygne, we will practice being prayerful throughout the day...... as we join the Youthfront community in Morning and Midday Prayer services, as we enjoy a delicious lunch meal and table conversation, as we spend time alone in prayer with our Lord, and as we explore several Pathways to Prayer in small groups.

Opportunity will be provided to participate in a small work project to improve the facilities and grounds of Youthfont LaCygne with Ron Howard PRAYER AND...

Opportunity will be provided to participate in a walk along a lakeside trail for meditation with the stations of the cross, journeying with Jesus toward Calvary PRAYER AND... with Richard Buckner

Opportunity will be provided to participate in simple artistic expression through drawing, color, and creativity PRAYER AND... with Dawn Estep

Opportunity will be provided to explore the beauty of Christian hymnody and the use of music in devotional practice PRAYER AND... with Ken Bible

Opportunity will be provided to walk through wooded trails to experience God’s presence and revelation through the Book of Nature PRAYER AND... with Doug Hardy
