For Christ is “…the firstborn over all creation…” Paul goes on to declare in Colossians 1, “[Thus Christ] is before all things and in him all things hold together…” (Colossians 1:15; 17).

19. Literally the word shalom means: to be complete, perfect, full. Why it’s ultimate reconciliation, marked by soundness, harmony and rest.

20. But in the spirit of Romans 12:18 – “if it is possible, as far as it depends on [us], live at peace [in shalom] with everyone…Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good!” (Romans 12:18; 21)
