8. Variance Two values that are used in statistics to describe how far away your data are from the mean are Variance and Standard deviation. Set 1: 8,9,10,11,12 Set 2: 1,2,10,17,20 In the first set,there is not much variation away from the mean. In the second set the other values are farther away from the mean.
