Curriculum Options

CBSE Features: Pan India. Maximum students. Few subjects. English requirement is lower. Science/Math focused for entrance exams to IIT/JEE, AIEEE, CPMT Exam/Admission oriented. Textual learning. No analysis. Rote learning.

CISCE Features : Emphasis on English language. Content is extensive compared to CBSE. All subjects given equal importance. Edge over CBSE for TOEFL, SAT etc. Limited students at the national level.

Gujarat Board Features: Simple syllabus till grade 10 only. Maximum advantage for colleges within the state. Vernacular friendly. Rote learning and exam/admission centric. Difficult to move to out of state colleges. Local entrance exams like GUJCET being phased out.

IGCSE/IB - Time line Grade 9 Start: Dec 2012 Finish: Nov 2013 Grade 10 Start: Dec 2013 Finish: Nov 2014 Grade 11 Start: Dec 2014 Finish: Nov 2015 Grade 12 Start: Dec 2015 Finish: Nov 2016 Attend any college across the globe: July 2017

Recognition Yes It is recognized as equivalent to the following in India AISSCE ( Class 12 CBSE) ISC ( Class 12 CISCE) HSC (Class 12 State Board) Candidates can appear for AIEEE, IIT-JEE, CPMT, AFMC etc entrance exams to all professional courses for engineering, medicine and others in India
