2 Color Coding Description / Definition 1.This strategy allows students and teachers to work though group activities and homework questions in a more organized manner. 2.For a group activity this strategy can be used to assign different groups specific problems/questions. 3.For individual assignments or tests this can be used to differentiate answers to problems/questions, such as in multiple choice questions, mix and match, etc.

3 Example of Color Coding What is this shape? A) Cube B) 3-Dimensional Triangle C) Pyramid D) Triangular Prism The correct answer is D) Triangular Prism, but if someone didn’t know how to read the answer out loud or felt uncomfortable with their English but knew the correct answer, they would then be able to say simply “The yellow one.” And here is another example of how to use this strategy...
