3 Recap In the last chapter, we learned how to Regroup ones as tens to make addition simpler. Always begin with adding ones. You can regroup by making tens and ones if there is 10 or more ones. Then we add tens to get the sum.

8 Something to remember!! When you add one digit to two digit numbers, always add ones first. While adding ones if the ones are 10 or more, you can regroup. Remember when you regroup, record in the tens column.
