3. SKILLS OR TRAINING NEEDED Milliners needed to know how to cut straight, sew by hand, make ruffles, and sew on buttons.

4. TOOLS AND MATERIALS  Tools used by Milliners were needles and scissors.  Fabric, thread, and buttons were some of the materials Milliners used.

5. TRADE IMPORTANCE Because the people in the colonies needed clothing. When people went somewhere they always had to ware fancy clothing so they would go to the Milliners shop.
