3 SKILLS OR TRAINING NEEDED Milliners needed to know how to cut straight, sew by hand, make ruffles, and sew on buttons.

4 TOOLS AND MATERIALS  Tools used by Milliners were needles and scissors.  Fabric, thread, and buttons were some of the materials Milliners used.

5 TRADE IMPORTANCE Because the people in the colonies needed clothing. When people went somewhere they always had to ware fancy clothing so they would go to the Milliners shop.
