We use secondary sources to gain an overview of an issue or area of law and to discern vocabulary, abbreviations, terms of art and acronyms to aid in our research. Secondary sources are also an excellent way to locate citations to both primary authority and additional secondary sources and to help determine whether your issue is covered by state or federal law (or both).
