Create Login ID for First Time User How to Create an Online Application – Student Quick Reference Guide This quick reference guide contains step by step instructions on how to: Create and submit an online application for a course in the Department of Applied Social Studies. This guide is a tool to be used by prospective students who would like to apply online for a course of study in the Department of Applied Social Studies. For further information, please contact our Admissions Office (admissions@ait.ie). The closing date for receipt of applications is 1 APRIL, 2014.admissions@ait.ie Introduction Step by Step Instructions – How to Use Online Admissions 2. Select Apply for Admission3. Enter Login Details 4. Select Application Type E.g. New Undergraduate / Graduate Studies 1. Open Online Services (for Students): A link to the online services site for students is provided by our Institute. If you do not have the address, please refer to your Institutes website (www.ait.ie) or contact our Admissions office (admissions@ait.ie) for further details.www.ait.ieadmissions@ait.ie Click here for first time users 5. Select Admissions Term and Enter Name Details Enter Login ID and Pin and then click Continue Once your details are filled in, click her to continue.

Application Checklist This screen contains a checklist of the application details that need to be entered before you submit your application. To fill in the details, click on each link to open the corresponding form. Once you have filled in a form, click ‘Continue’ to go to the next form or click ‘Checklist’ to go back to the Application Checklist. The screenshots below show the various Application detail form sections. Notes: Some details contained in the forms are required fields, these can be identified by a red asterisks beside them. The sections in the Application Checklist that need to be filled in may vary depending on the application. Click ‘Finish Later’ in a form to exit your application. Your progress is saved and you can re-enter at a later date to complete (on or before 1 April). Step by Step Instructions – How to Use Online Admissions (Continued)

3 How to Create an Online Application – Quick Reference Guide 7. Application Checklist Complete Once you enter data in a section. E.g. Primary Address, a checkmark will appear beside it in the Application Checklist. Once data has been entered in all sections, click ‘Application is Complete’ to view the Signature page. Step by Step Instructions – How to Use Online Admissions (Continued) 10. Signature Page This page is displayed once your application has been completed. Confirmation will be sent to your email account. Click here to complete application Once all sections are checked as complete, you can submit your application.
