Geographic location Climate South of the boreal forests in eastern North America, eastern Asia, Australia, and Europe. Winters are cold, and summers are hot. Average precipitation: 75-150 cm per year. Temperature range: - 30°C - 30°C

Plant Species Oak, beech, maple trees, shrubs. The Temperate forest is like the Rain forest in fall because it rain a lot.

Animal Species Squirrels, rabbits, skunks, birds, deer, foxes, bear, bald eagle, nightingale, cardinals, hawks, and the snowy owl, snakes.

Human Impact Forestry industry, which chops down million of trees every year. Logging, conversion of the land into agriculture, fire suppression, manipulation of wildlife population, and site conversions.
