Our Christmas design By: Mariah and Jessie

Our special Christmas Food At our Christmas feast we would have rice, sand kager, gingerbread, punch, and boiled potatoes.

Weather We would want our weather like Australia’s on Christmas at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. On Christmas day it could get above 100 degrees on Christmas.

Clothing The girls would wear a white dress, with a red sash, an evergreen crown with tall candles attached. The boys would wear pointed hats and carry star wands. They would all wear red and green socks. It wouldn’t be surprising for some people to be wearing t-shirts or shorts.

Customs We would have traditional cakes and cookies at Christmas. Santa is who the kids would believe in to bring them presents.

Songs and music We would sing songs like Deck The Halls, O’ Christmas Tree, Jingle Bell Rock, and Holly Jolly Christmas

Greetings At our Christmas we would greet people by saying Feliz Navidad.

Decorations For our decorations we would have candles, apples, flags, models of Jesus’ birthplace, gifts, Christmas trees, candy canes, angels, wreaths, holly stockings, and snowmen.

What we learned We learned that in Sweden on Christmas the youngest girls wear a white robe, with a red sash, and a crown with candles attached. The boys wear pointed hats and carry star wands they are called star boys. We also learned different countries celebrate Christmas differently.

What day Christmas is held on We would hold Christmas on Sunday so kids could honor the reason of Christmas and then go home and open presents from family and St.Nicholas.
