2 Gypsy Lifestyle in UK  Gypsy people in the UK lived in horse drawn wagons later changing over to caravans  With the termination of traditional stopping places they found it hard to find places to stay.  The 1968 Caravans Sites Act placed a demand on councils to build sites but the 1994 Criminal Justices Act put an end to site provision,  Lack of sites meant the Gypsy people had to either buy their own land or go into housing
