Student Organization for Human Services majors/ minors, but any major is welcome! We “fill the gap” in faculty-student and local company- student relationships. We are a community service based group. › Participate in service projects on and off campus.

Great way to network with faculty and staff. Provide contacts for internship opportunities. Get more involved in your community. Build a better relationship with your peers. Keep “being a professional” in mind.

Fill out an application and submit that form along with your dues. › Dues are $12 per semester or $20 for the year **To be considered an “active” member you must pay dues and maintain 6 hours minimum of community service with the organization.

1 st Committee meeting will be February 5 th during activity period in the Perry Library (Room # TBA) Looking for 5 to 10 people to help with fundraising and planning (hours count toward community service hours). See Staci after meeting to sign up.

Caribbean on the islands of St. Kitts and Dominica… NOT Africa as I previously stated We have a bin in the office next to us. Bring in as many supplies as possible and spread the word, its for a great cause!

Valentine’s day: It’s always nice to have a valentine › Buy a rose, candy and card bundle for a friend or significant other › Not interested in buying one? Spread the word!! › Order forms are available in the office, put completed orders with payment in Dr. Dustin’s box. › Orders will be ready for pick up on the Feb 14 th meeting! › There will be a table on the 5 th and 7 th to place orders as well. You must have money with you to place orders!

Dues are due by the 3 rd meeting, which is Feb 28 th All volunteer hours MUST be submitted by 5 th meeting, which is April 11 th End of the year celebration tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 28 th › You will have more details as the time gets closer
