1. Your team’s job is to prepare a lesson to educate your classmates about one of systems of the body. Here is a breakdown of the project: – Part 1: Warm Up and PowerPoint Presentation – Part 2: Activity – Part 3: Giving the Lesson – Part 4: Test Questions – Part 5: Resources

2. Part 1: Warm Up and PowerPoint Presentation – Give the name of your organ system & describe the major parts and their functions. Provide a diagram of your body system to each classmate so they can fill in the major parts or organs and their functions. Explain how your body system works with other systems in the body. Find 5 fun facts about your body system or its parts.

3. Part 2: Activity – Create a game, a demonstration, or anything else you can think of to reinforce the system you have just presented to the class. Type a detailed explanation of the activity to turn in. Part 3: Giving the Lesson – Your group will have two 50-minute class periods or one 100-minute block period to present your power point and conduct your activity. You must all share the responsibility of teaching the lesson and make good use of your time. If there is time remaining you can not have “free time”, the teacher will step in and this will cost you points. Having a back-up activity is suggested.

4. Part 4: Test Questions – Your group needs to develop 20 potential test questions about your system. You will need to provide different types of questions: multiple choice, true/false, short answer, etc. Part 5: Resources – All source of information must be non-internet. A work cited page, in MLA format, must be submitted with project. All groups projects will be due April 30 th before you leave class! (NO late passes)
