GOAL 2 Basic education for all Before 2016 schoolchildern of Aracaju’s public school should be classified 1st place in MEC (IDEB) test. First place in MEC’s school ranking for Northern and Northern Regions ACHIEVEMENTS AS PROPOSALS AS MAYOR OF GOVERNOR 2003/2006 ARACAJU

SUMMARY Beginning of 4-year term: only 22 students in College; 4 years later this number went up to 1215 + 2040 = 3.245 students A 147 fold increase, correcting a terrible discrimination against poor students that before couldn’t afford to go to college. ACHIEVEMENTS AS GOVERNOR 2003/2006 UNESCO’s invitation to debate the pedagogic plan in Paris. Sergipe’s project was praised for the “well succeded strategic improving public school quality in Sergipe that was used as model in other parts of the world”. GOAL 2 Basic education for all
