Read & Submit Reflection Assignment: Read the Thomas Friedman article from the New York Times – It’s a Flat World, After All, prior to class Write a one page reflection based on your reaction to the article. Summarize and react to the key points. How does the Friedman piece inform your work as a teacher, mathematics educator or researcher?

More on Your Reflections Submit your reflection to your ePortfolio, UNDER the REFLECTIONS category Also, bring one copy of your reflection to class, that will be turned in Be prepared to present the key points from your reflection to the class: Reflection presentations will be brief, 5 -10 minutes maximum It is not necessary that you have a PowerPoint presentation We will also have some “in class” discussions that hopefully are stimulated by the Friedman piece
