6 6 THE WORK ROUTE FOR THE DEFINITION OF THE RQS Revision of the Regional List of the Recognized Qualifications based on the following criteria: Low recoursing Obsolescence No Attendance Stationing/Interruption Superimposition Analysing the educational projects referring to any qualification Comparison with the researches performed by different bilateral organisms (industry- craftmanship- small and medium enterprises–co- operative enterprises-tourism-transport- agricolture)

8 8 PARTS OF THE RQS List of qualifications (the “inventory”): at present consisting of 112 qualifications organized into 33 professional areas Qualifications description (the “professional standards”) Process in order to update and maintain the qualifications and the competences placed into the archives (the “source process”)

9 9 The participants 100 experts appointed by the social parts + 50 experts appointed by the vocational training organisms for each of the 33 identified professional areas Three half days of discussion in order to confirm the qualification professional standards in each area about 180 meetings Three half days of discussion in order to confirm the qualification training standards in each area Regional officials + Expert consultants =

10 10 It can be registered into the “Libretto formativo individuale” (individual educational booklet) IT’S A FORMAL CERTIFICATE It’s given to the individual Points out and assures that the individual owns all the typical competences of a defined professional figure It’s assigned through a PROCEDURE REGULATED by the Region It can be obtained through the addition of partial certifications (certifications of “competence unit” which can be gained through different ways of learning, during different periods of life) the RQS QUALIFICATION is: the RQS QUALIFICATION is: A group of working roles, operating on working processes which are similar and characterized by professional homogeneous competences

11 11 It’s a “joint” between vocational training and labour system. It’s not “restrictive” neither to the first nor to the other system A qualification is not a training course The RQS is not a training supply system A qualification is not a working role The SRQ doesn’t represent the system of working roles inside the enterprises/organizations A qualification can be a reference point for both one system and the other THE QUALIFICATION AS A “JOINT” BETWEEN THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND THE LABOUR SYSTEM THE QUALIFICATION AS A “JOINT” BETWEEN THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND THE LABOUR SYSTEM A qualification reflects professional figures which “can be trained” and are “present” in the labour world.
