R AYS!!!!! A ray is a straight line extending from a point. A ray is also a piece of a line, except that it has only one endpoint and continues forever in one direction. It could be thought of as a half-line with an endpoint. If you add a arrow to a ray it would become a line. Main menu

L INE S EGMENTS!!!!! A line segment is part of a line containing two endpoints and all of the points between them. You can form a triangle with three line segments…but only the ones that can intersect at their endpoints. To determine a angle formed by a line segment is by measuring it with a protractor. The angles that are formed on the other side of a line segment would equal 180 degrees. Main menu
