Decisions taken by WGI at its meeting on 14-15 April 2014 Include a new section on reporting trends in the 7th report on the implementation of the Convention (report for COP-8) Mention countries that submitted their reports on time to encourage timely submission in the future Reports that were not submitted before the WGI meeting cannot be considered for the preparation of the 7th report Secretariat and WGI Chair to send official letters to Parties and Non-Parties to: Inform them that they did not comply with the reporting requirement of the Convention Explore reasons for non-submission Encourage them to submit their report before COP-8
