1. Building a wormery By 5 th and 4 th class !!!

2. Materials needed You need sand, soil, worms, leaves, gravel and water.

3. Equipment You will need a shovel and a container to put it in.

4. Method 1 Put some gravel at the bottom of the container to allow for drainage.

5. Method 2 Put in soil.

6. Method 3 Add a layer of sand and repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary.

7. Method 4 Add a little water if soil is very dry.

8. Method 5 Add leaves and release collected worms on top.

9. Method 6 Cover container. Ensure that you leave tiny air holes.

10. Method 7 Leave in a dark place.

11. Result The worms will mix the soil, sand and leaves together.
