Idea development/ brainstorming To analayse and determine how to symbolize the data in an interesting and unconventional way, I studied the characteristics that give the image of the coffee and people who’s data I will combine in the final outcome.
12
Proposed outcome is a semi infograph semi illustration where various coffee cups/cans/powder packets are dressed up in the characteristics of their drinkers, the more popular the type of coffee the bigger they character is. The setting of the characters may also change depending on how and where the coffee is consumed eg: office workplace, restaurant or coffee café. Eg: a big coffee can with elements from a student show it is a popular choice for the students demographic and a small coffee cup show with a necktie and suit show it’s not popular with that demographic.
