Open Microsoft Publisher Go to Start Programs Microsoft Publisher Lets select Award Certificate Pick Blocks and Lines

Personalizing Our Certificate Click in Certificate of Appreciation Type “Perfect Attendance Award” Above you can change the size of the viewing so you can read your certificate easier Next Text Box – to left of picture Type Florence Elementary or Florence High School – what ever applies to you This certificate is award to: Highlight the words Change to larger print and bold – change the type of font if you like

Creating a Certificate Continued Name of Recipient Type your Name Next text box Highlight and type: In recognition of your Perfect Attendance during the 2004—05 School Year You can delete one of the signature lines if you like By just clicking on these lines

Creating a Certificate Continued Click on Color Schemes This is at your left Select a color scheme that you like Click on Font Schemes This is under the color scheme Notice how the fonts also may change your design layout Click on Publication Design Notice again how some of the design layout changes and some new items may be added – that you would need to address I recommend you pick the design before you start creating

Clip Art Select Block and Lines again Select the Clip Art on this certificate Handles should surround the object Go to Insert – Picture -- Clip Art Type in: studying -- in the search box – click search Double click on the picture you have selected – and observe
