How do we define the personality traits of a hero? We define the personality traits of a hero by? A hero is someone who can rise to the occasion for the greater good and stay humble through out the process. “if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory." (book 4)

How does a hero reflect his/her particular culture and society? Harry reflects that there is still good in the wizarding world. Yes there are death- eaters and you know who but there are still those that want to remain good “It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." (book 2)

Why do we have heroes? Heroes represent the good in society. They are hope for those that don’t know.

Why do we accept fictional characters as heroes today? Fiction sometimes allows us to do things that wouldn’t normally be possible. So for us to accept fictional characters as heroes it only makes sense. They represent what we wish things could be like.

How does You Know Who's childhood influence his actions in life? You know who was the product of a love potion. Therefore he does not have the ability to love. (book 6) He was an orphan, the only home he had ever known was Hogwarts. (Book6) He was very obsessed with Slytherin, and everything else Hogwarts. (book 6) He was the heir of slytherin, he was destine to open the chamber of secrets (book 2)

How do Dumbledore's actions near the end of his life affect Harry after he dies? Before Dumbledore’s death it was just something he had asked harry to help him with, after his death it was his ding wish. (book 6/7) It leaves harry in a position where its almost his responsibility to continue the horcrux search. (book 6/7)

How does Harry’s childhood influence his actions later in life? Harry was bullied by his aunt uncle and cousin. this leads to him being to be very shy and reserved at first. (book 1) The longer he's at Hogwarts the more he breaks away from his reserved shell. There is also a correlation between the amount of magic he learns and how his parents personalities show through his own.

How does Harry’s lack of parental influence his life? Harry’s lack of parents leads to him building strong relation ships the people his parents knew and trusted, the weasleys (book one) serious black book (2-5) lupin (book 3-7) Dumbledore (book 1-6) hagrid books(1-7)
