3. The Quality and Validation office is part of the University Registrar’s Department. It is responsible for the development and operational oversight of Academic Quality, assessment procedures, advising on Academic Regulations, UK validation, Examination Assessment,awards and Students Records. 3

9. 9  In many cases the Departmental Administrative Assistant, Module Leaders or even the Head of Department can advise/help you. You will also be assigned a Personal Tutor.

10. Students can get help from Q &V on a variety of topics. But we urge students to read their handbooks before seeking advice! 10

11. Students can get help and assistance from the Q & V regarding the following topics : Writing an Academic Appeal (AP). How to submit an Impaired Performance claim.(IP) We can advise on how to receive Transcripts, Module Specification &Degree Certificates. 11

12. Other Enquires include Exams, (exams dates, exam Time table & Results for each semester during the academic year) We also allocate special needs students an individual exam location and/or extra time during the exams. 12
