Parts of Speech: Adjectives Adjectives modify (describe) nouns or pronouns – Examples: (I have a green pen) (They are happy) Tell: Which one? How many? What kind? Include articles (words like a, an, the) Write the following sentences below. Circle the adjectives and underline the nouns they describe. 1. The beautiful stars twinkled in the night sky. 2.
