Living the Stripes My grandmother thinks respect is the greatest stripe. Because she was growing up as a kid in a strict Italian household, she had to kiss every relative when she saw them as a sign of respect. They expected to get greeted in this matter

A Family Motto Her family and she always say if you can’t control it don’t worry about it. She was told this many times as a little girl.

Special Event My grandmother said one of the most special events in her life was when me, William Mazzeo, and my brother, Nicholas Mazzeo, were born on January 11, 2005.

Family Tradition Every Christmas my grandmother prepares seven fishes, a traditional dinner Italians eat during Christmas time.

School in 3 rd grade She said 3rd grade was hard because she had to learn fractions and she cried almost every day

Connection She said it was very fun and I agree with her What surprised me was that she had no nicknames in school and I have like 100 I was happy to learn about her family motto She says that her favorite stripe is respect and I agree with her very much
