5 NUTS AND BOLTS Up to 8 people / team Team members will be from DIFFERENT CLASSES For example: The Reading Warthogs Team 2 students from Mrs. Haasl’s class 2 students from Mrs. Erickson’s class 2 students from Mrs. Berman’s class 2 students from Mrs. Kenney’s class

6 MORE NUTS AND BOLTS Teams meet regularly, one recess each week, to Get and give encouragement Practice for the challenges And sometimes even just read!

7 LAST OF THE NUTS AND BOLTS There will be an In-School Reading Challenge in February 2015 Winners will advance to the Semi-Finals in March 2014

8 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Q - Do you have to be a super-duper reader to be on a team? A – No! Readers at all levels are welcome Q – Do you have to read ALL the books? A – No, but you need to read at least one. Teams need to strategize to make sure all titles are covered by the team as a whole.

9 HOW CAN I DO THIS ?? Tell Ms. Smith… I want to be on the Sno-Isle Mega-Fun, Biblio-Trivia, Rock-’em Sock-’em 3 rd Grade Reading Challenge! Ms. Smith (and Leo) will choose the teams.
