SaveSorb Overview SaveSorb is an all-natural oil and chemical absorbent. It’s both cheaper and more effective than any clay, cellulose or silica based absorbent on the market today. The key ingredient in SaveSorb is formulated peat that has been dried, blended, sifted and PH balanced to produce the best oil absorbent available.

SaveSorb Overview SaveSorb doesn't just pick up oil like a paper towel or sponge, but rather truly absorbs and encapsulates oil molecules. This true absorption means that SaveSorb doesn't leach absorbed product when under pressure or exposed to water.

SaveSorb Overview This non-leaching characteristic has allowed SaveSorb to pass State and Federal non- hazardous landfill requirements for a multitude of products.

SaveSorb Overview In addition, SaveSorb is hydrophobic, meaning it floats on water and can be used to take oil or fuel off of the surface of water or can be used as a water filter. SaveSorb mats and booms can be used in environments where rain and runoff can cause oil cleanup and removal to be near impossible with other products.

W HO IS THE C OMPETITION Clay (Kitty Litter) The vast majority of the absorbent market is made up of clay based products (kitty litter). Pig Products (Polypropylene Pads) The largest alternative to clay is the poly pads. Peripheral Products A very small part of the industry is the more exotic materials like coconut husks, crushed corn cob, cottonseed, etc.

H OW ARE WE BETTER ? All-Natural Renewable Resource Our absorbent is 100% natural and taken only from renewable bogs.

Environmentally Friendly Because SaveSorb completely encapsulates the hydrocarbons until they naturally bio remediate, it protects the environment from negative effects of an oil, fuel or chemical spill. H OW ARE WE BETTER ?

Non-Leaching What really sets us apart from all other absorbents is that we do not leach absorbed oil and chemicals back into the environment. Once they are locked in, they are there until they are broken down into environmentally friendly elements. H OW ARE WE BETTER ?

Hydrophobic Where oil and water mix, SaveSorb will separate the oil from the water, lock it up, and not leach it back into the water. Our pads and mats are the most effective tool for pulling oil and fuel spills off open water, absorbing quickly and completely. H OW ARE WE BETTER ?

Product Design We started with a blank slate and build and designed products around the needs of our direct customers. Our product designs are what customers actually want and need. H OW ARE WE BETTER ?

WAREHOUSES & DISTRIBUTORS LOOSE ABSORBENT Typically, warehouses have loose product on hand; usually clay products. SaveSorb can handle small spills easier and have enough spill capacity for larger spills. Larger spills usually come in one of two forms; a forklift blows a hydraulic line (3-8 gallons come out quickly) or a forklift punctures a drum or other container.

WAREHOUSES & DISTRIBUTORS FORKLIFT SPILL KIT A small spill kit that goes on each lift. Simple kit with a Spillow sock and a small bag. It will allow the lift operator to contain a spill quickly. A spill that goes under pallets or under a rack system can be hours to clean up.

WAREHOUSES & DISTRIBUTORS FLOOR COVERS, MATS, SOCKS & BERMS Some warehouses have a huge problem with condensation on their floor. When combined with oil, it makes the floors an absolute nightmare. This is especially true for operations that do a lot of shipping at night or early morning. We are working on testing our product as ground cover in this type system.

TRAIN YARDS LOOSE ABSORBENT Loose product is ideal for use in cleaning the service area itself as well as the train engine compartment. When a train comes in for service, part of the service usually includes cleaning out the diesel engine containment car. The buildup of oil and sludge that is really difficult to remove. They usually use degreaser and high pressure water. They have valves on the bottom (like an oil pan valve), but usually these are quickly clogged. SaveSorb can make the cleanup much easier and much more environmentally friendly. If the engine is removed or if it is still in place, use our product liberally in the containment area. Let it sit and absorb for some time (15 minutes to an hour or longer). Then with a brush, broom or rag, agitate the product and sweep it up. Any remaining product can be left in place or blown out. This eliminates the large quantity of liquid waste that they normally have to dispose as hazardous waste.

TRAIN YARDS USES :MATS & BERMS There are multiple places where our mats and berms come in handy. ●Under the train when it is being serviced to catch oil and fuel. ●At fueling stations to catch spilled fuel. ●In some of the catch basins that are designed to capture grease and lubricant. ●In the shops where parts are broken down and serviced. USES : SPILL KITS Spill kits (20g) - are ideal for train service yards in case of a sudden release and most yards will already have one on site. We can replace the contents with our refill bags without replacing the container to save cost. Spill Kits (First Response Kits) - are ideal for use on the train. Most trains have a compartment for spill response. Our First Response Kits will usually fit inside and provide much more effective spill response in the event a train has a leak or trouble out on the rail.

T RUCK & HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE COMPANIES & GARAGES LOOSE ABSORBENT, SPILLOWS-MATS-BERMS, SPILL KITS Loose Absorbent - The trucking and heavy machinery industry is used to loose product and is hard to change. All operators and buyers in this industry are worried (rightfully so) about their service guys over using the product. This is where the two drum system will work wonders. Also, all other products are 1 and done. SaveSorb can be used multiple times. Spillows, Mats & Berms - One issue that can be problematic in open truck bays is the amount of wind that can tunnel through. The easiest solution is to use SaveSorb mats and spillows. Mats can be used when servicing trucks and can be used over and over again. Spillows can be used to wipe up any smaller spills. Spill Kits - 20g spill kits should be used in all of these shops for large releases that occur. Refill packages can be purchased at a much lower price.

T RUCK FLEETS – SPILL KITS WHY HAVE A SPILL KIT ON EVERY TRUCK ? Consequential Cost – The highway department of most states have a strict policy when it comes to spilled oil, fuel and fluids. They are not going to be responsible for cleaning it up unless there is no other option. If drivers don’t have the ability to at least contain a spill, officers and tow truck drivers will be billing the company for their time and materials. More importantly, if a spill is large enough or threatens a waterway or storm water drain, a third party spill response company may be called. These bills can be outrageous ($5,000 to $25,000 depending on the severity and threat to water). Just having an effective spill kit on board will greatly reduce this risk. Prevention of just one of these spills will more than offset the spill kit cost.

T RUCK FLEETS – SPILL KITS WHY OUR SPILL KITS ? Size to Capacity Ratio - Our spill kits will contain and absorb far more than most any similar sized spill kit on the market. Just having a spill kit filled with wipes won’t go very far if there is ever more than a gallon spilled. Not many trucking accidents leave less than a gallon of fluid on the ground. Price to Capacity Ratio – For what our spill kits will absorb, we are significantly less expensive than virtually every spill kit on the market. Effective in Wet Environments – If an accident occurs in the rain, our absorbent will still work, eliminating the oily sheen that officers will be looking to spot. If a spill occurs in a waterway (stream, lake or river), using our product will contain the oil within the water, again eliminating that telltale sheen and protecting the water system.

MACHINING, FORGING AND PRESSING COMPANIES SPILL KITS For machine shops our 20g Overpack Spill Kit is ideal. In addition, we can customize socks, mats, berms and more to contain a large releases.
