New Directions for Program Funding CIDA Canadian International Development Agency Mandate Support sustainable development in developing countries in order to reduce poverty and to contribute to a more secure, equitable, and prosperous world.

Improve Maternal health6. Combat HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria 7. Ensure environmental sustainability 8. Develop a global partnership for development Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)
