Banner Student 8.7 has other prerequisites\impacts (Banner General, Web Tailor and Web General all need to be at 8.7)

DBEU needs to be in place (Database Extension Utility)
Primary impact is on ODS (Operational Data Store.) XE technology requires Banner ODS Preprocessor installation

22. Legacy Transcripts
Parchment supports working with legacy records a number of ways
Legacy student’s hard copy transcripts are imaged in Xtender (document imaging system) in pdf format
To identify the legacy students a hold must be created in Banner
Creating a hold will prompt manual intervention before transcript can be delivered
Documents must be uploaded to Parchment in the tiff form
Adobe Photoshop is used to create tiff
