2 The Challenge… … recognises schools with certificates at 10 weeks … recognises students with medals or alternate awards at 4 weeks … is to record activity @ www.pbac.sa.edu.au or on paperwww.pbac.sa.edu.au … is to do at least 60 minutes of Physical Activity a day on at least 5 days per week (not just at school) … is a 10 week Challenge for all Reception to Year 9 students

3 This Power-point outlines 5 simple steps to being part of the Challenge Step 1: Register as a coordinator (for your individual class or for the whole school - it’s up to you) Step 2: Register a group (your class or the whole school) Step 3: Register participants in your group Step 4: Get your participants to record their activity (on paper or online, it’s your choice) Step 5: Approve your participants’ activities online This Power-point also outlines other features: Ambassadors Resources and Downloads News Contact Us

9 Search for your school (DECS, independent and Catholic) or register as a home school

10 Your school may choose to nominate a ‘Super Coordinator’. This person can transfer participants between groups and manage all groups within the school. STEP THREE – Register participants

12 Use participant be active ID’s for previously registered participants. (Contact your Super Coordinator if you have forgotten these) Or enter all details for new participants STEP THREE – Register participants

13 STEP THREE – Register participants for negotiated criteria (students with a disability) To nominate negotiated criteria - click on this link and you will be able to enter criteria for your individual participants

14 STEP THREE – Register participants for negotiated criteria (students with a disability) Enter the number of days per week the participant is to undertake activity Select the number of minutes per day the participant is to undertake activity

15 Various sample paper logs are on our website STEP FOUR – Record activities on paper

16 STEP FOUR – Record activities online Students can record online using picture based or word based screens. Make sure you click on the Submit button to complete the process for each week

17 STEP FIVE – Approve your participants’ paper based activities online Simply nominate the number of weeks recorded on paper by the participant s in your group then click the Submit button

18 STEP FIVE – Approve your participants’ activities online You can approve the number of weeks participant s in your group have submitted online by clicking the Approve Weeks button
