Peacemaking Peacemaking: founding, promoting & maintaining a condition of peace & harmony. Peace Peace: freedom from strife, conflict & disturbance; not quarrelsome, but calm, serene, quiet, harmonious.

God of peace God of peace (Rom 15:33; 16:20; Phil 4:9; 1 Thess 5:23; Heb 13:20) – Prince of peace (Isa 9:6; Luke 2:14) – Promised peace (John 14:27; 16:33) – Promised conflict (Matt 10:34-36) – Terms (John 20:30-31; Acts 17:30; Rom 10:9-10; Acts 2:38; Rom 6:4)

Christ is our peace Christ is our peace (Eph 2:14-17) – He preached peace to us (17) – He united us in one body (14, 15) – He reconciled us in that one body to God (16) – “In His flesh”, “through the cross” (15, 16) – “Redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Eph 1:7)

Promise “They shall be called Sons of God” “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You” “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You” (Isa 26:3).
