9 Orgasm and Sex  Key Point #4: Orgasms help pregnancy to occur.  Male orgasms release ejaculate (a mix of sperm and fluids), into the vagina of women. Ejaculate must travel through the cervix and into the uterus for pregnancy to occur.  Female orgasms may help draw sperm through the cervix to help pregnancy.

15 Independent Practice – Choose One  You are a sperm. Explain to your little sperm brother the path that he must go through in order to get to an egg and fertilize it.  You are an egg. Explain to your little egg sister what will happen when she is released from the ovaries. (Make sure she knows what will happen if she is not fertilized).
