West Indies, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe People from the West Indies, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe have come here because: economic migrants 1.they were willing to do low paid jobs others wouldn't do and want a higher standard of living (economic migrants) asylum seekers 2.they have been fleeing persecution (asylum seekers)
