1.tape four rulers down. 2. tape five pennies together 3. set dimes in between rulers 4. flick the pennies into the dimes 5. measure with your rulers how far it went 6.write it down

1 st try: we started it at 6” in the first ruler and it went to 11” in the 2 nd ruler. 2 nd try: we started it at 6”on the first ruler and it went to 10” on the other ruler 3 rd try: we started at 6” in the first ruler and it went to 8” in the 2 nd ruler

- each time we did it, it ended up at a different measure - each time it ended up at a less measure

We believe that when we flick 5 dimes into 5 pennies will go 2 centimeter’s because they have less mass
