2 W HO I S M ISS C ORBALLY ? I’m from Point Pleasant Beach, NJ I went to The College of NJ. I have a younger sister named Carolynn. I love to dance! My favorite color is green. My favorite food is sushi. I love my golden doodle, Eli. I cheer for the NY Yankees and the Giants. Teaching is the only thing that I can imagine myself doing and I am so happy to start this year with you!!!

3 W ELCOME TO O CEAN C OUNTY V OCATIONAL S CHOOL W ARETOWN C ENTER The mission of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School system is to prepare students for job placement or further education leading to successful employment. We develop partnerships with affiliated schools, parents, business, industry and community agencies to create and deliver opportunities for students to participate in quality occupational programs and support services. These programs and services are designed to meet the needs of high school students and adult learners, as well as the requirements of employers, colleges, technical schools and the community. All students will achieve the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards at all grade levels.

6 I NTRODUCTION TO S ERVICE O CCUPATIONS The Service Occupations Course of Study is for students seeking a career working with people, the Service Occupations cluster includes: Information on service- related programs in Child Care, Cosmetology, and Culinary Arts.

8 I NTRODUCTION TO E MPLOYMENT O RIENTATION P ROGRAMS The vision of this program is to identify unique strengths of all students as they discover their true potential. Major program activities include improving daily functioning, nurturing personal growth, and identifying those strengths needed for successful employment. The program objective is to assist students in making a smooth transition into employment orientation classes.
