Skill Lesson Development Teach the skill cues- be clear on skill being addressed and how students will be assessed Practice the skill cues- Learning activities need to be aligned with skill cues. Allow Plenty of Time for Skill Practice Use a Variety of Teaching Strategies to get at different learning styles Assess for skill cues- use performance items that align with health standard benchmarks Ensure time for feedback to students
