Teacher: Kenji Tachibana Digital Photography I My Story: Experiencing the whole scene If you had not seen the progression from shot 1 to shot 6, you may not be able to see that it was a natural process of ‘looking closer’. The establishing shot could easily have been wider. But the close up maxed out the capability of my camera. The detail was about 8’ away. Stages: Minnesota Scene

Once you learn to apply them consistently, you need to move beyond the rudimentary rules. Although, shooting variations should never drop off your shooting practice.
