Asch Conformity Findings 18 trials 12 of which the people who were in on the experiment purposely gave the wrong answers. 75% of subjects conform at least once. Subjects conform 32% of the time. Presence of an ally - Even the presence of just one ally/friend that goes against the majority choice can reduce conformity as much as 80%
