7 Print the Ready to Reclassify Roster Print the Ready to Reclassify Roster before reclassifying All students appearing in this roster have met the reclassification criteria and need to be reclassified immediately Keep the Ready to Reclassify Roster within the reclassification binder (as documentation)

Print reclassification label and affix to CUM jacket 5. File signed reclassification letter in Master Plan Folder

13 Parent Notification Requirement Print the reclassification letter from MiSiS Principal signs letter Photocopy letters to keep on file Send home to parents for their signature Three attempts must be made to obtain parent signature – Annotate the attempts on the letter (or copy of the letter) File letter in the blue Master Plan Folder Enter parent notification date in MiSiS 2/10/14 1 st attempt 2/15/14 2 nd attempt 2/20/14 phone call Mrs. Principal Sra. 16 Remove LAU Labels Remove LAU label from the CUM jacket when student reclassifies; write “ RFEP ” and date. RFEP 6/5/14 16

K-1 Reclassification Criteria (LAT) Overall CELDT score of 4 and - 4 or higher in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing Overall CELDT score of 5 and - 3 or higher in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing CELDT Progress Report Card Marks of 3 or 4 in ELA in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing Teacher Evaluation DIBELS MOY or EOY Benchmark scores on all subtests Basic Skills Assessment Parent Consultation and Notification Parent Consultation Reclassification of students in grades K-1 MUST be recommended by LAT. Only Kindergarten students who attended TK or were retained in the previous year can be considered. Language Appraisal Team -OR- 17

18 LAT Reclassification for K-1 Required Documentation 1. Copy of official CELDT Scores 2. Report Card 3. DIBELS Individual Report 4. LAT Reclass form, Attachment B 5. LAT Sign in, Attachment 4-B 6. LAT Initial Meeting form, Attachment 4-E 7. LAT Follow Up, Attachment 4-F (if applicable).

19 Gr. 2-5 Reclassification Criteria Overall CELDT score of 4 or 5 and - Scores of 3 or higher in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing CELDT Progress Report Card Marks of 3 or 4 in ELA in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing Teacher Evaluation DIBELS MOY or EOY Benchmark scores on all subtests Basic Skills Assessment Parent Consultation and Notification Parent Consultation LAT required to meet and review students meeting CELDT and Basic Skills Assessment, but not Teacher Evaluation.
